Planning on going to the mainland for the first time for a mule deer hunt. I only have 5 days off from work at the end of the season from December 5th - 10th. Not looking for peoples local hot spots just some general direction on where to maybe try for a big buck. I don't need meat so if i don't see what I'm looking for I won't be shooting. So I Probably won't be shooting. Feel free to PM me with any info that might help me. If anyone wants any info on Island Blacktail, Bear, or Elk, PM me I would be happy to help.

Thank you

Hi - The Clinton / 100 Mile House area is usually pretty good - if you're going that far up.
Go a bit further and Williams Lake has lots.
Good luck.

Region 5,4,8 will all be closed for rifle. It is a region 3 hunt obviously.

Anywhere along the Fraser River corridore both east and west should be a safe bet.

Barnes Lake road area-3-18-by Ashcroft area has humungis bucks--like to walk and hunt-the stillhunting is primo-del-a-rimo- pardner. Later the season the bestest.
Theres a challenge for a hunter of bigger bucks of the muley type typical and non-typicals, it'll satisfy your deer hunting for sure.
Jelness.
