When I was in College, we used to hunt the Castlegar Golf Course for WT. It was a good hunt, just sneak along the x-country ski trails. We shot some good deer there. But that was back in the nid 80's. I am sure that things have now changed.

Cheers

All you need is a real big golf bag and your set.

If you were a good golfer, you could wack them with a ball and throw them into your cart. It means cutting your game short but who cares, it's only golf.

Box hitch:

I played Predator the 2nd week of October this fall and saw 5 mule deer does bedded on the 3 rd hole north of the driving range and then later on saw 3 whitetails as we played a hole nearer to the road we came in on.

Sawmill,

I'm sure if we go about it right, those golf courses (and the new ones going in) are going to have quite a battle on their hands keeping those "pesky" critters off their lawns. It's one thing they will be on there in the winter, but it won't be long and the population will be up and they'll be resident deer year round.

We could come to the rescue of those courses. Reduce and re-use, help them manage their problem.

If they fence the course, well, I know where I'll be sitting.
