Well we got back from our big trip on saturday. And I have come to the conclusion that there are no bulls in 5-02D. It was a great trip nontheless. We saw close to a million grouse (30+) same for does. I saw 3 bucks, one of which was a shooter but my friend wasnt quick enough:shock:. Saw a black bear and my dad saw a wolf, and decided not to shoot it??. I went back the following day and seranaded him with a dying cottontail but to no avail. But we did see 4 moose. 3 cows and a calf. Which was really cool because it was my first moose hunt, and first time seeing them not on the road. I put my rifle over my head and swaggered in grunting and Got to about 100 yards of the cow+calf. But decided not to go further, as she might get a bit annoyed with my crappy immitations. I will add pics as soon as I am home from school.

Take joy in these hunts with your dad, because there will come a time when he's gone. Nothing better than memories. I still hunt with my dad every year for at least one week long trip somewhere. He will be 73 next Monday. He shot a calf moose this year by the way to break a bit of a dry spell. Just because there was not animals taken does not constitute a poor trip in any way. They are all great. Sounds like you guys had fun, Congrats!

Cool pics, thanks. As said earlier, cherish your time with your dad. You never know when it will be your last.
