we with everyone in the family Killing stuff, my itchy finger got the better of me...
lately I have been hiking into spots way back so I dont feel as inclined to kill something unless its really good... but with a few upcoming hunts that wont allow me back into region 8 and this being the last day of the any buck I figured I would zap this guy... he didnt have much chance at 60 yrds in the neck,
after getting all my gear on to hike in ... this guy was standing 100yds from the truck just up a little road...at least now I can feel good about breaking in the new weatherby ultralight

That's a nice buck, congratulations. Moved from Vernon to Victoria 7 years ago, I really miss hunting Region 8:smile:

I think the pick might be decieving as he was missing a few vertrbrae after the shot....so he had a little accordian neck...

Mike I wasnt where you think I was.... my younger brother was though and they killed a couple deer there yesterday... apparently with the roads packed....

$500 in clothing, $300 boots, $600 between the pack and misc. equipment, $1500 in weaponary and a 100 metre walk!!!! You have to love the irony. Nice 3 point. Congrats.

Thomas, what was your brother driving?? white pick up by chance with a buddy?? If so, Nick and I talked to him and saw him a couple of times!! Thought he looked familiar (young too!)
