After passing up some muley bucks in Region 3 yesterday, I cut a nice load of fir and had a mid-afternoon nap in the truck. Headed towards home from the backcountry and ran into this guy just at dusk. Many thanks to my "new" friends, Jason, Don, and young Dawson who showed up just at the right time to help me drag and load him.

Very nice whitetail buck you got there FD ,he looks very fat ,I'm guessing he will dress out at 140 pounds ,congrats on dropping a very nice deerhttp://www.huntingbc.ca/forum/images/icons/icon12.gif.

Well trained dog to Fetch and retrieve a critter that big, mine only brings back sticks and ducks.

this young dawson wouldnt have been from the lower mainland would he ? my daughter has a hunter freind who was up that way this last weekend

Nice buck FD. Gotta love it when you can drive out to get a load of wood, and come home with a buck. And an "elusive" Region 3 WT to boot!

Awesome when you can get a load of wood and then top it off with a deer. Heat and meat, gotta love it.
