moose rut

was just up in 100 mile and thought the moose would be ruting.i guess not.tried a few cow calls and bull grunts but had no answers in two days. does anyone have an idea whats going on up there?thanks

The rut at this time of the year for moose in that area is on and just because you never had any answer you they are rutting as we speak.

I just had an up close and personal experience with a rutting bull moose in the interior. Too bad me in more ways than one that it wasn't a spike/fork.

100 Mile is quite heavily hunted because it is close enough for all the guys from the lower mainland to come up for a LEH if they get it. I've noticed that the bulls down there seem to rut a little bit later than they do up here in Prince George, and they are much less vocal.
