I've hunted that area a few times this late. Camped at Pressy. The deer are hard to find. Only ever seen one in the daylight. Lots of moose, but they know I've not got a tag!!

I have seen more deer near little pressy than big pressy but most of that area seems moosey

I hunt up there quite abite. October has more hunters then game. Everything but moose move out of there and down towards clinton. Opening season is the only good time.

x2 on that! Was there last weekend, nothing but moose around. Unless your hunting a draw, I'd hunt elsewhere.
