http://www.huntingbc.ca/photos/showphoto.php?photo=10764&size=big&cat=recent&limit=recent My goal this year was to get my Son in Law his first buck. Not having every weekend to hunt like me, time was a factor. So today is the day to try and get Ash his first deer, well we left the house on the quads in the dark, we waited for day light at the top of the mnt, after checking out spots where my son and i had seen bucks during the week i decided to mount up and all of us were going to quad to a different area where i'd seen a few larger bucks. We just started on the trail when i saw a few bucks in the trees near a skidder trail, Ash hopped off the quad and loaded a shell into his rifle, i saw abuck to the left and had him fire, it was a white tail and the hit looked good! I binoed the other bucks that ran up the trail a bit, they were mulie's, load and fire at the one on the left Ash i whispered, Bang, that one fell in it's tracks!!! After the hand shakes and tag cutting Ash got a first hand at cleaning deer!!! Over the last few years he has always helped my son and me with our animals, packing meat and hanging and the skinning, Always the brides maid he'd say to us! Well, to days your day Ash!!! What a Thanks Giving!!! A double Header!!!

Nice work, Mr Dean! Mulies and whitetails together - you weren't hunting at Predator Ridge, were you?

Wow...Not very often that occurs that you can dump one of each species from the same spot, at the same time...

Hopefully he does not make that a habit...It would sure make for a short hunting season....

Good work and good eats...

Are u going to me there M.Dean? Or maybe u could take pity on Roche and take him there to your special deer spot, but you'll have to go pick him up, and oh yeah probably have to gut it for him:smile:. Congrats to your son-in-law. See u for coffee tomorrow! >RAMSHOT
