If it is moose, the rut is started! We were in 5-12A Oct 1-10 and the cool weather didn't show until Oct 4. Watch for grizz, as we saw a HUGE one less than 75m from the FSR we were hunting.

Its - 6 or so here in the AM..so -10 out there it warmed up with blue skyes today..the rut is in FULL SWING so CALL...AND USE COW IN HEAT..dont worry about bulls being on the edges of clearcuts wityh cold weather they WILL be try caoaxing them out with your best sexy MOMMA cow call..lol

You could NOT ask for better moose hunting conditions.PERFECT.
