hes 8x9 and hasn't been scored.. to be clear. hes a mountain buck!!! not one of those (permission to hunt on a farm deer..)

i'll post the story and score when i know more..

What a bruiser of a trophy buck. I also recommend Harley White for the taxidermy job. You won't be sorry as he does excellent work. He's done 3 heads for me and they are worth every penny. His business is called Kelowna Taxidermy. Pm me if you want his phone number and address.

What a brute. The buck looks similar to the one loafing around under my stand for 20 minutes, never giving me a clear shot, last year in Illinois. The buck should score well. I especially like that three-pronged brow tine. Congratulations to the hunter.

That is a hell of a nice deer.......

Usually those size and maturity of deer don't get caught making mistakes til thier little heads start thinking for the big one.......

brute...whoever you get to mount it ask to see their work first, they don't need your horns until they are ready to mount the deer ie. cape back from tanners and they get around to your mount so keep your horns at home and have him call you when he needs them. sometimes the wait is 2+yrs! to get it back.

I would recommend Harley White as well- he mounted my first whitetail 22 years ago and it still looks amazing-not only is his work excellent-It lasts !!!!!

I wouldn't be letting "a friend of the family" mount a booner whitetail for me. Harley White is da man around here - he's done 3 deer for me and they are all "award winners" as far as I'm concerned. And I'm a fussy ba$tard! :tongue:
