My road hunt last night

Took the kids for a drive last night after work, to look for a road chicken or something. After driving past a number of ponds holding ducks, I decided to get one. I took the kids and the dog to the edge, everything flew away fast, except this mallard who decided to do a fly by. Not the best course for her. My double 20 knocked her out of the sky, and my good old dog did his job happily. The little one is in her PJ's because she likes to fall asleep in the truck. We saw a few does, one was gracious enough to stand 10m from the truck so my daughter could get a really good look at her. The rest of the drive was non-stop duck talk. My kids are the best.......

Kamloops. There sure is some fine and diverse country all less than a one hour drive away.

Way to go. I think it is awesome to take the kids out to experience that. It is something they will remeber forever. Some of my favourite memories are with my Dad in the outdoors.
