Grouse for dinner??

Anyone else having grouse for dinner? I'm just cooking 2 up for the wife and I.. Figured there has to be a few others that went out last night to get a few for dinner.

You dont let it tack up a bit? I find if you let them hang for a bit they are not as good to eat as if you were to let them hang for a few days.

Meh, turned out pretty good. Never really heard of aging them.. They sat for 24 hours :P

Well im glad you enjoyed them! You should try them in the slow cooker pretty good.

I just ate mine from yesterday, mom put it in the convection oven with a bit of spices/marinade. Hmm-mmm tasty! :biggrin:

we've got 8 in the freezer that were sharing with our buddie but seen about 5 cuvies of grouse 3 were just too small
