I'm taking off tuesday for my elk hunting trip.
Whats got me really pumped on top of that is bringing back my hounds at the end of my trip.
Got 2 pups coming (4.5 months) and a 4 year old finished bitch thats already seen 150+ head of game, coming from who's turned out to be a real good friend, to use to get my pups going.

Here's a few pics for the hound guys

Yep Jager those cats are caged prisoners now.
The pups are on them individually every 3 days now.
They've all graduated to 300 yard races now (well the 6 left of originally 11 pups)
Molly the 4 year old I'm getting on "loan" is Penny (pups mom) sister, her only fault is shes silent until the track really heats up but he uses her where the wolves are and has got some cranker cats in areas where some guys wont dump I think. (like I care about that fault right now, I just want to see cats !)

Anyways I'm excited to be just getting started when everybody is forced out of the bush due to closed seasons, theres no better excuse to be in the hills after deer season and I really love the hills when they're full of snow !

Ahh OK, that's where you went. Sorry to hear about that. It wasn't a SD card from China, off ebay by any chance? I had a similar experience. Regardless, shitty deal. How did the sheep hunt go besides that?

Bitch is on loan.
Hows your pup doin Dave?
Tuff is being a real weiner, develpoed a limp that wont go away and he wails in the box cuz Riley and Snuff get to run and he doesnt, he just stands in front of the truck.
They're starting to learn the e collar tone now though and I've done a couple "real good" trash lessons on Riley lately lol
Remember how he wailed on setting "2" ? You should hear him getting rolled on 6, man he's stubborn...

All the pups are doing fine. Just being pups still. Gonna get them on some trainers in the next month or so. The box barking is very normal:razz: They all want out to run. Just keep at her alternating roading one at a time with Riley and they will get the idea. Did you build a box for your ATV? I guess you are gonna be gone for elk for a bit huh? Been running some corn bears! Older dogs are fat and outta shape but it wouldn't take long. We should hook up when you get back.

Have you had tuff to a vet for the limp? I would leave him at home until his limp heals up. I don't like running the pups to hard yet.

Hey BTS,

Nice looking pups! I don't want to go off topic too much but you weren't using the same card as the one that was in your trail cam were you? It seems you've had some bad luck with your cameras lately...I hope your luck changes; you've always posted really good pics for us on this site.
