Anyone seeing any caught in the vedder or fraser latley , how has the fishing been?

The Vedder is extremely high and looks more like chocolate milk then the normal clear conditions for this time of year. Fraser has steady reports of the big stinky Harrison White's rolling through. Looks like BB'ing is not the way to go this year as more and more people are slaying fish with the plunkin' method.
There are fish in the Vedder you just need to hunt for them, Water clarity is crystal at the Slab, but very few reports of good success that far up.

There is good coho fishin on the lower vedder at either first or last light, floating good roe. Jacksprings present as well.

was at the vedder tonight at the bottom end of littman rd and there were a few guys out using spin rods and the plunking method but didnt see many fishing being caught, saw a few jump though

Low water conditions are making fishing inconsistent as of late. The snaggers are out in full force at all the low water holes.

im new to the area what is a decent part of the river to fish? im thinking about going out after work,

True Limit is closed (thank god), If you are looking for some productive water, try just below Thompson Park, or the On The Way Store...

Although the fishing has been quite hit and miss, these areas offer a good chance at springs and if your lucky some Coho.

I drove by the Vedder on Sunday morning and was reminded why I don't fish there. There were already hundreds of fishermen on the river with a steady stream of traffic driving in.
Although there must be a bunch of fish there if there's that many guys fishing.

a freind has property opposite peach road on the river, the gravel extraction co dug a nice 12' deep pool the size of a soccer pitch there and the coho are stacked, pulled a small one out on sat last weekend saw a guy pull anothe one out this morning. great times
