Has anyone hunted in Region 7-43 or 7-35 lately? Im headed up there in a bit for moose and elk in 7-35. Ive hunted 7-43 a bit last year and came out with a moose but Ive never hunted 7-35 before. Has anyone got any feedback on the area that they want to share? Any advice is always appreciated.

I hunted 7-35 for moose a few years back ,we came home with our moose both years ,saw some nice bull elk in that region as well ,but they where closed because we were in the on the 15 of Aug and elk don't open till sept first.

There both good areas head up there and work the regions ,they should pay off for you ,good luck.

I've only seen 2 bull moose all season. They where hit hard in this area (7-35, 7-43) 2 winters ago. Elk start at Chetwynd and are pretty much everywhere. 7-43 is not part of the 7-20* ag zone and oly parts 7-35. I should also warn you that the local native band have had some camps in these areas for about 7 weeks now and have shot everything they seen. One young buck told me 18 moose and lots of elk...Thety are actually pounding the bush pretty good. They have horses and quads and the younger ones are even hiking.
