Well I got my first buck today! Long story short Right when i started to squeeze I heard dad whisper "wait theres a four point!" And it was to late. I plowed the two point at 60 yards and the barnes triple put him down, only to find a nice 4 point looking blankly at me broadside:razz:

But truthfully i dont raelly care cuz when its your first, a bucks a buck!

ps: Im still working out the pics, srry for the delay

Congratulations! I took my son out to both those areas, started off at Pike but our spot wasn't happening today so we took lawless back to the coquihalla. Didn't see squat on lawless, which is weird.

Well done. I know you won't forget it. My two son's, my dad and I hunted down around the Hope Princeton highway. No buck for the little buck, but what a day. 1 moose, 4 bear ( 3 of which were sow and 2 cubs, one cub being a cinnamon ) 8 does, 2 fawns, 1 coyote, and a miriad of hawks, falcons, and kesterals.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your season and stay safe.

Ken.

Thanks, it just feuled the passion! And no, he had no velvet on him. But at the base he had some stained blood and a little bit of tree bark, so maybe he rubbed within the last couple weeks?

DBM- Yeah, thats where we got it, the 13 km mark up pike mnt from the airport side. My buddy hunted lawless today, they saw a fox and a wolf. But he's just startin out so I dont know if it was a coyote, but I wouldnt be suprised cuz we got em around here
