Very cool..... that memory will last a lifetime. What did he take it with? Been thinking about a fire arm for my nephew of about the same age to get him going....

my 12 year old son got his first deer. Nothing spectacular,


Gotta disagree here !!! For his first deer ever, I think it is spectacular. Something to very proud of.....

Congratulations Ryan. Great start to lots of great memories in the bush. The best bit of parenting I ever did was to get my son started on hunting. Now 18, he's a great young man and an excellent hunting partner.

Nothing like seeing a young successful hunter smiling. Congratulations to the first deer. I went out scouting this morning, seen lots of deer. That first frost must have made them move.
