I know the rules..but can't download pics from camera till Weds.

Anyhow, my nephew and his grandpa took advantage of the first day of youth season this morning. He was taken to a "family" honey hole which he is familiar with. He spotted the bedded buck himself. The buck stood up and walked a few steps, stopped and turned, and before grandpa could say anything, BOOM it was all over. :smile:A 50yd neck shot. It is a nice local three point.....but green scores over 155!!!! It has 24.5 inch main beams, 15 inch G-2's and over 5.5 inch bases.

The 14 years old won't need a light after dark tonight with the way he is beaming.:grin: Grandpa is perty proud as well.

pics will be a couple of days..sorry

Gorgeous 3 point, nice g-2's, good to get him out of the gene pool, He'll most likely would have been a 3 pointer his whole life.

Nice buck....Should be good eating too, being so early in the season...I think he would rut up hard, as he would be able to battle the 4 points easy...

It does not say in the story - Is that his first deer ???

Blainer...no velvet...already polished up...was with does and had a bit of smell to him

rocksteady...not his first buck but definitly his bigest. He has plans to mount it. Good trophy for anyone let alone a kid...lol
