Info for Sparwood Area

Hey, i just wanted to say thanks to people that pointed me in a new direction for Elk in the valley. We went out scouting and also ran into a guide that for some reason decided to help as well with what he called a "general" area. We went in and indeed got into many Elk, small bachelor groups, with some great racks. We decided to try and get close to hone our skills and if we were ready and not going blow it, they would settle down by Sept 1st. We indeed got very close to many a big bull, one you will see posted if we are lucky enough to call in. Those guides do have some great places to hunt. In a week we will be trying to call him in, i can't wait to see how it goes. There were so many there, one of those times in life when it all comes together and nothing else matters!! Elk hunting is magical, i can't wait until my boy is old enough to come along and enjoy it.
