Looks like there are some crankers still out there! 13 year old ram taken recently in BC. Net green score of 184 2/8. Unfortunately not taken by me or my partners. Does anyone recongnize the scenery? PM me if so!

I heard an outfitter got a 46" ram that went around 183-185. This may be it. I know the territory it came off of if this is the one. A ram of this calibre comes out every year or two but not many that is for sure. You read the old FNAWS books and Great Rams and Great Ram Hunters and see these rams being shot on every hunt.

Times have changes but they are still out there.

I have been informed that this sheep was from 2007. I can't believe I missed or forgot this one from last year. Nice to look at and drool! Definitely one of the great rams.

Likely one and the same... No doubt a Ram that dreams are made of and likely not the only Ram of his calibre living on a mountain somewhere in the province.

There was a dandy taken last year from the same area... This one you've posted is in fact a new ram to the best of my knowledge.

The ram looks like one I have seen a picture of but not with that guy. Not sure if it was last year or this year.

I just know one was shot this year already that was 183 or 185 (can't remember). If this is a new photo then it has to be the same ram as I am guessing only one ram this caliber will be killed this year let alone already in the season.

I was just sent the same pictures today. Amazing ram! Originally, I too thought it looked like a ram I seen pictures of last year from a Stone shot in the Yukon and guided by Darwin Watson. But, glad to hear it's a different ram from this season.

It would be nice to see a resident, non-guided, average joe shoot a ram of this calibre. It seems like the guys that get the big ones are the non-residents. Big Wallet = Big Rams

If that don't give ya wood nothing will! And $13,000 less than most other outfits. How much do you think those trophy fees go up next year??

Apparently the guide did not even realize this ram existed when he and the client found the ram.

This ram definatly lived his days in the buck brush / timber to be able to reach that calibre and his mistake was venturing out into the open where he was spotted.

The territory belongs to Jerri Geraci of Upper Stikine River Adventures.

This same outfit last year also killed a 178" Boone and Crockett ram.

Incredible ram! Does anybody know if it was taken with a bow or rifle. I do know that Upper Stikine caters to bowhunters too.

Whatever the weapon, still very impressive.

Sure makes me look forward to my late season stone hunt! :)

I too saw that picture on e-mail. A real cranker.

I heard that Jerry Geraci had sold his guide territory last year. Any one else hear this?
