With this heavy rain on the coast I wonder if there is snow in the mountains up past Pemberton and into the Lillooet area, and Bralorne, Gold Bridge?

What is your experience for heavy precipitation this time of year? I'm wondering about the 5,000 to 6,500 foot elevations.

I woke up to an inch of snow on my tent September 1 one time.

Mt. Currie in Pemberton has been dusted with snow for 4 straight days as of today. I think only once has it gone below about the 6000' mark, I would assume the same for surronding areas. My buddy Jake who works in the shop on top of Blackcomb told me last night it has been snowing on him on and off for the past 10 days.

yeh snow! lol, one year up near Pink mountain, August 16, woke up 2 am, being crushed in canvas wall tent, 12 inches of snow in less than 4 hours, damm near suffocated! had to cut our way out of tent with knives! anything can happen anytime of year in the mountains! but 12 inches of snow made for great hunting and many guys packed up and left! so there's a bright side also...
