My first ever BC Tags

I just picked up my hunter number and my very first bear and elk tags. I am headed for region 4 the first week of Sept in search of elk. I have been bowhunting elk for years and I'm really looking forward to my first hunting experience since moving to BC. Any thoughts on where I might start in region 4? I've tried searching the forum but you can't search the word "elk" as it's too common.

Good luck on your quest.
Try adding another word to your search, it may filter better, like "bull elk"
of "6 point"

I would go onto Google to earth and look for a place to hunt.

I was on Google to earth for about 2hr last night looking at different back roads etc good luck.
