Montec G5's are what I shoot, but there are others out there that work just as well. With the Montec's I didn't need to adjust my sights at all which is nice. I know a guy that likes Thunderheads, but uses a target tip sight, and has another sight he bolts on for his broadheads. There are also the cut on contact expandables, but there is mixed reports about them.

Ones that I've used - and like - are the Montecs, the Razorcaps, and the Slick Tricks. All work well for my setup.

Welcome to the club. I have no intentions of giving up my handguns, shotguns or rifles but I do enjoy archery.

Don't like the expandables any more than I like Crossbows....but that's another stinkin' can O' worms.

I buy the three packs (100 gr or 125 gr) at ChinaMart...oopss.. Wal-Mart.
Any arrow I miss with on practice or on a deer (not that that's ever happened...ahem) goes into my "practice" lot.
That way I shoot exactly what I practice with, and don't have to pay 50 bucks for three tips.....so I don't mind messin 'em up.

I shoot magnus fixed 3blade buzzcuts and love them + they have a lifetime warrenty you get what you pay for

Welcome to bowhunting! I can't help you with broadheads as I only shoot two blade 190 grain grizzly's or 125 grain Magnus.

Either way I know you will enjoy the sport. :)

LOL.I picked up my bow today.A New old stock PSE Scorpion.Outfitted it the best I could for my budget.Just need broad heads.What do you guys recomend?Im thinking Mono techs??
