Driving out to see the squeeze lastnight, and of course no camera in truck I spotted three deer in a yard, two of which are does , the third a buck in velvet.
All three had good sizes to the boddies and the buck had a nice rack as well. Not sure if it was three points or just two, but very nice mass ( of course still in full velvet )
Red coats as well, but of course that will change in the near future when they all but dissapear to grey in colour.
Question, how thick is the velvet ??
