Howdy,
Will be just north of Princeton in the latter part of Sept/early Oct to do some Muley hunting.
Any advice about hunting/camping in the area?
Anyone camped at Rampart Lake before?
Any and all advice appreciated.
Cheers,
Terry

It's very busy there, get off the roads and hike a bit , the deer are 30 yards in off the roads , you will be amazing at how much sign you see when you just get off the road .

Be prepared to work, and expect to duck the odd shot from a "sound" shooter or two if you don't get way in off the logging road.

Forgot to add, Bring your boat & fly rods for some excellent fishing in Rampart. It's an artificial fly only lake.
