Other than the lil buck, was there any good sightings?? How about deer sign in general, does it seem like theres lots up there or just a few. Reason I ask is Ive been poking around some high country lately and seeing no deer sign at all! Lots down lower in the cut blocks ect. just not up high??? Maybe the cool wet summer has had something to do with it, not the need for the highcountry.

Mark ..Didnt see another deer other than the lil buck.not much for deer sign not much for shit or tracks , there was more moose sign than deer.i wanted to stay up there till around 8 in the evening but it turned ugly and poured rain. The little buck was out feeding at around one in the after noon . got the week off so will keep looking and hopefully see something worth going after opening day .

Is there just to much pressure?

frenchbar

At times theres a bit of pressure,i used to hunt the mid oct migration but after they logged it the last time i havent been back much, then raising a family cut into the hunting time and not to mention work.I dont get much time anymore to just up and head out for a few days at a time ,so i tend to just get out mostly on day trips closer to town.
