Well since the fishing sucks in Port McNeill ( unless it was thursday morning where I hooked 6 springs by myself), we decided to head back up to Port Hardy and see some different country.
It was an amazing day.
Left the dock at 5:30 and was back at 13:30 with a limit of springs between 16 and 23 lbs, two coho - 7&9 lbs and three hali's at 22, 35 and 46. We also released two coho:-( and lost three springs:redface:.
We went exploring among the islands as well and along the way we saw an Orca cow and calf, two humpbacks, two sealions and a bunch of porpoises, including 4 that played in our wake as we were running. The wife really loved that!!!

The boat is amazing, for 50 miles of running and three hours of trolling, it burned less than 10 gallons of fuel. Got to love those Yamaha engines!!!!
Cheers
