What do you think?
When using a pack dog on a hunting trip are you required to have the dog leashed?
You are using the dog to transport gear not to chase or hunt game.

as long as the dog does not chase or pursue game i dont see a problem with it.

My dog packs a pack while out from time to time . Not on a leash .
