Hi,

I have literally just finished my first build of a AFB, and have never really done archery before (aside a play at school, and the general bent stick and a bit of string when i was a kid).

The bow has come out to be quite neutral in it's tiller and is 70" Nock to Nock, is #45 @ 28".

What sort and what spine and length should i use and any general tips and pointers?

Thanks,

Dave

I would start around 40lbs on 28in. arrows and go up or down from there as needed. I guess with a self bow a person should shoot wood arrows.

I knew when I read this thread yesterday that one of the Trad guys (not me) would step up and offer some pertinent advice. Thanks Onesock.
