Babine Sockeye!?

Anybody heard how the sockeye run is supposed to be this year in Babine Lake? Any fish in there yet? Big7

BTW, last weekend was fairly unsuccessful, just a few little guys and lots of rock chips on the boat. The weather could have been better.

Talked to the CO in Burns Lake this morning and he said the same....fish are showing up. Opens Aug 1, 2/day, 4 in posession. Should catch something this weekend!

Hey JB,
I just checked the online regulations...... the daily limit for sockeye in the Babine system has gone up from 2 to 4. They just updated it today. It said nothing about the possession limit changing however.
