Dana - as usual beautiful pics - enjoying family time is what it is all about - get away from the rat race and just have simple times :)

Dana...what kinda dog is that?

He's a 3 month old Majestic bloodhound pup I got off of Houndogger. We've named him Timber. He's quite the character. Starting to use his nose already. This weekend he was bound and determined to follow a grizz track we had found.

Bighornbob,
I have to get Cody is shape for his goat draw somehow. ;) I obviously didn't have him weighted down enough as he decided that he needed to pack out a garbage bag full of beer cans the sledders left behind. BTW, I love that new spotter. Just too bad I didn't spot much for game this weekend. With the late spring and cold wet summer, everything is still lush down low. Not much for deer sign in the highcountry yet.

My wife, Shannon, likes to pack her paints when we going camping. Here a couple Plein Air painting she did this weekend.

Dana,

her paintings are gorgeous - very talented indeed - I can't wait to show Breanne them as she enjoys painting also and seeing Shannon's will be very inspirational indeed.

oh and Timber is adorable :)

Houndogger,
I ain't going to train that dog to be a bear hound. He's got a far noble purpose. ;)

Matt,
I'm not short. You are just a Freakin Giant is all.

Not surprised by the "bug hats" Dana, I was shocked by the vicious mosquitos at high altitude, and was not prepared. Absolutely awesome pics, and great paintings. A great family experience.

Laurence,
Not the family cabin. This cabin is one the local sledin' club has up one of the local mountains.
