Early morning yesterday, 4am left the loops with the jet-boat hooked up and some friends and the kid brother for a day on the Fraser. Launched and headed up to some good Sturgeon holes that produced over the years. The Fraser was still high but we ended up landing some nice ones. Other than the hainous wind storm that lasted an hour the day was great. We had one Sturgeon almost take a brand new rod and reel out of the rod holder and snap 100# tuff-line going up stream:eek:. Over-all we landed ten fish of varying sizes with a lot of bites and some good laughs! Oh almost forgot, the palomar knot is the knot to use with that braided tuff-line:smile:. RAMSHOT.

Nice pictures, I am hoping to get out for some nice trout this weekend, but we will see if I can get time away from work. Not the same as getting into those monsters!

I would love to come down and catch a sturgeon with you one day, can you catch them in the fall when deer opens or is summer best? What an amazing fish they are. Any time you want to come fishing here I can take you out, you just have to decide what species you want to target the most and decide if you want to hunt a big goat in August or later. I have caught some chinook this year and went out after work today for the first time fly fishing sockeye this year and got one sockeye and a jack spring in fairly short order.
