Watched a news program the other day on careless jet boaters on the Upper Pitt. The scene footage showed some very nice elk along the river banks.
Nice to see.

The elk in the pitt are doing very well. If the numbers keep growing there could be a draw there in upcoming years.
They already ventured away from the pitt towards north end of stave, my neighbor had a cow and calf feeding in his garden last spring.

that's awesome
I know some irresponsible jet boaters that keep asking me to go up the upper pitt but I'm too busy...
can't wait for more elk close to home

There was also an elk transplant into the upper Stave a couple of years ago.
