Calling all white sheep hunters

I finally have an opportunity to hunt Dall’s in 6-28. I have done a lot of research and talked to a bunch of people that have been to most of the lakes over the years.

I was hoping that anyone that has been there in the last few years, successful or not, could offer any advice that would help me out.

Who they have flown with, who not to fly with?
Walk-in opportunity?
Areas to avoid?
Trails between Lakes?

Any info would be great, I am always open to share stories and info on sheep hunting (just ask GatehouseJ). PM me if you want.

Gatehouse, looks like I will be helping out another sheep newbie in the same area you were drawn for in 2005. Hopefully I will have some pic’s.

A British Columbia white sheep would make a great addition to the household!

The left ram was out of the Shulaps on a 3/4 draw in 04. That was my first sheep and I have had the itch since then. Seems like the itch it is getting worse not better??
