Man do I miss river fishing. I spent two weeks at Kitimat fishing Koho when I was 15. Missed the first week of school for it. Had more fun than I ever did in school.

I fished all day pretty much yesterday on the Kitimat around the island. I got a small one and lost another. Saw a couple caught.

Just got back from there today. Skeena was pretty dirty, the Kitimat was fishable. We did ok on hali from the Douglas, but the salmon was spotty in the channel. Coho's were starting out around Gill isl though, we only come home with two salmon 1 spring, 1 coho. Lost quite a few. Got quite a few Hali's. Beautiful trip, fishing was slower than I would have liked, but man what a wonderful piece of Brithish Columbia! Can't wait to go back!! Well maybe cheaper gas!!! 1.60 /l at Hartley Bay! Ouch, 750 l worth of tanks! Moosin

I was just fishin in the channel on the weekend as well. We got our limit in halibut on saturday, then the weather went bad in the afternoon and we headed back. Was a fun day though!
