A buddy sent me these photos. The bear was taken north of Tumbler Ridge. I have no other info.

Your right Mark. It is a VERY close up of a polar bear in the snow.
INTERCEPTOR is working on the photos now & should be up quickly. Keep checking back.

Saw the same pics last year on an e mail, somethings fishy, maybe even the bear. Can any one confirm Tumbler Ridge??

There was a big bear that size near chetwynd my dad works for dept of hyws and said it was pulling a moose road kill off the road and was about 800 pnd or more so there are bigg boars around here there one right now just ouside town that id say is about 750 or so..

To me, this photo just seems totally UNREAL. Huge 11 foot Kodiak brown bears taken on Kodiak Island would look puny in comparison to this Mountain griz, which makes it somewhat dubious.

I've seen people drag a moose along a road, and they didn't weigh 800 pounds.

I also got an email of the same photos about a year ago too and on that one they said it was a coastal brown bear.

Here is a link from the B&C website. They have little info on the bear.

I wonder if those boys have Kleenex stuffed up their noses? By the amount of raven crap on the bear, I'd say it had been dead a while.

Regardless, it's big.

Raven crap??

Something fishy, the first two pics show it hugging different logs. I doubt it was moved far for pics, so was the stump moved ?

PS Alaska is north of Tumbler Ridge.

I saw this last year too. Can't recall where it was from, pretty sure it was not Tumbler Ridge though. Would lik to hear if anyone does know where it is from.

I remember getting this one in my email. My understanding was this MONSTER was shot in Alaska.

I got these in my e-mail some time a go as well. I think it may even have been 2 years ago as they are part of one of my screen saver sets. It surely did not mention anything about Tumbler.
