Hi,
I have a few knives for which I'd like to have some sheaths and pouches made.
Does anyone know of a leather worker in the Thomson Okanagan area whjo does this kind of work.
Obviously quality is my first concern and I've often found that a keen hobby maker is best in these situations.
As ever all help gratefully received.

Try Ritch Mclean in Summerland, don't know his number but he should be in the book.

I'm in the same boat. These guy's are tough to find.
I'm thinking about takin' it on myself but am 'hobbied' out.

I do leatherwork myself, but I'm not really in the Okanagan area.

Theres a guy who shows up at the Lumby gunshow each year. He has made special scabbards and holsters, as well as his line of belts, shellholders, etc.
I'll see if he's there tomorrow.

I had a sheath made for a custom knife that was given to me. I had some leather dude in Kelowna make up one for me. He was a little too biker/artsee/fartsee for me...if that makes sense. Turned out pretty ghey. Lots of tassles..that kind of thing.

I don't remember the shop name but I would not recommend him anyhow:roll:...............never mind.
