Well, I admit, I am not much of an Elk hunter, so tend to avoid the Great Debates concerning opportunity or lack of, for EK and WK Elk.
Then I goes for a little drive around, and spot a large six-point Bull in a group of 7 other bulls, one 5-er and maybe another 6-er. The Big Guy had 4inch forks on top already, and dwarfed the others in the group. In a great spot for Elk, not so good for hunters. Hey I may have something here. Check the dates, til 20th of Oct, yeah I can do that. LEH only, odds?........Dooh!! 45:1 !!
WTHeck ! There are lots of Elk around there, and not many local hunters I bet.
Ah, well, I'll stick to what I know.

Maybe we should open those elk for a GOS 6-point season. Oh wait, that's already been proposed by the WK biologist, but opposed by the people living there who own the elk. :|

Would certainly be nice if they gave us a 6 point season there! Certainly couldn't hurt the pop. Open alot more opportunity, and spread out hunting pressure! Anyone actually have a logical argument why there shouldn't be a 6 pt. season??????????????
