Absolutely amazing. I know an old fella that used to hunt sitting in a lawn chair along the treeline of a cut and he fell asleep one afternoon only to wake to a cow moose sniffing his face. I had a hard time buying that one but now with that clip....... I think I believe.

Had a blacktail doe come right up and literaly smell my breath, I didn't budge, and then did the usual snort that they do..... blacktail snot tastes pretty gross! Yuk!

I had the exact same experience with a 3 point bull elk a number of years ago, he actually put his nose on my shoulder, ... it was 6 point season.... to be honest those experiences unforgettable, if he had been legal I would have taken him at a much greater distance, instead I have memory of something awesome that makes me smile when I think about it ..so way better than taking one. I called him in from over a mile , he come down through a cut block , up an old trail and my partner and I had this great experience..... If your ever in the ABC restaraunt in cranbrook just ask Mike the owner , great guy, about this story, he'll tell you about this day we both got to share this elk experience. these are truly what makes hunting so perfect!!it's not the kill. it's the memories of truly amazing days in the wild!

I like to get out and sit under a tree or in some scrub bush for moose and had a fair sized cow comeout within spitting distance of me a couple of years ago when out with Maryonthewater and Betterofffishing.
The old girl and I talked back & forth for a few minutes then she decided to move on. One of those magic moments that outdoors folks get to see that others can only dream of.
