Hey guys and gals , i was just wondering if anyone of you have had any experience in hunting goat in 7-3 zone ? If not any other suggestions on where maybe to get a good crack at one .

Harder the access the easier the draws, (better odds). Just be sure to take a Billy not a NANNY!!
Stats are showing up to 30 percent of the harvests are Nannys.....a very bag thing to support harvest.
Goats should get way more credit then what they do, Rams seem to hold the crown so to speak for most hard core big game hunters, but the honest truth.....Billys are harder to hunt. I've hunted both several times, and bagged both, I'm not saying a good Ram is easy, far from the truth, but good Billys usually live in the most nasty of areas a mountain can have.
Can't help you on the 7-3 area, region 3 and 4 are where I've hunted for Bills.

planning a goat hunt for this year. Not that region though. Doing some learning myself. This isnt going to be no easy hunt!

I do know some trails up there. But A person has to be willing to hike a decent amount. I have found it difficult as the growth is soooo thick. Gota find a south facing hill for sure.
