Here is some photos of my new battleship. It is and Edwing built vessel out of Chinook Washington. Not pretty but functional. I didn't want a yacht anyways and Ed's theory is Chrome don't get you home:D.

Looks like a wild ride w/ the cabin pushed forward. Them air seats will be tested.

Seatbelts included?

Really, she's a good layout for a 'smallish' ship imo.
You can never have enough cockpit.

We can now say cockpit, without being censored...

Nice fishing machine. Lots of room for prawn traps or fighting fish on that deck. Hope the price of fuel doesn't turn it into a lawn ordament most of the time.

Your right about the cabin being forward. The boat feels smaller than it is driving it because your so far farward. The air rides are mandatory and work like a dream. Only had her out a couple of times but really like the ride.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I have been looking a long time for something like this and I don't know if it was the right move considering the gas prices right now but hey ya only live once. I'm putting a sign inside the cabin door that everyone leaving the boat can read "This boat runs on GAS not thanks":).

Joe-Blow doesn't have a CLUE what it takes to cruise for a couple hrs. Don't expect much from your fishing pals. I find that mostly only the 'hardcore' of enthusiasts can appreciate fuel costs, and most of them, have a boat already.

Good choice on engine. I have a pair of 130's on my tupperware job. Fuel misers they are BUT still take the better of 7 gallons/hour to cruise, when all is optimal. Still well worth the price of admission though.

The boat is used and is new to me. It was built in 2003 and the Honda main is a 2005 old stock put on the boat last year. The main had about 50 hours on her when I picked it up. The kicker is a 2003. The boat as a Navman fuel management system on it but is not working right now. It'll be interesting to see the stats when I get the bugs worked out.

First trip out was just me and my son 50 gals of fuel (105 gal. tank) and pretty much empty except for safety stuff. Water conditions was a slight ripple, slack tide, trimmed out we read 37.5 knots. I need to get out some more to work out the optimal cruise speed.

Good eye Steven,
I bought it off Crabbait on the Ifish forum.

She's 23' to transom plus a 2' pod. 8'6" beam. 1/4" plate bottom AND sides. Full 3" sch 40 pipe along the gunnel (not cut in half). I don't need bumpers:).

I was waiting for a reply from you BtS:-P. She came with Taco Grand Slam outriggers for tuna fishing. I've been doing some tuna homework and hope to try for em in August if the conditions work out this year (i.e don't have to go too far offshore).

They get tuna 25 miles off winter harbour.
My buddy knows where/when they're there.
If you want more info, pm me and I'll try and pry some details.
