So over the past few years I have built up a HUGE library of hunting videos of all kinds...Some good:D...some bad:?..and some pretty darn ugly:cry:! I have every single Jim Shockey and Lancaster series plus all Realtree, Brittingham and Primos......I just bought my first Ted Nugent the other day from Bartell..........still not too sure about the Nuge yet.....at any rate...Does anyone have a great hunting video that they really enjoyed and would suggest me to watch?? What made it so good?

Anything from Gordon Eastman is usually good. Great footage for the time he was shooting. He went to many places before most others. I think it is Challenging the Northwest territory where he has some shots of some incredible animals. One of the most amazing caribou ever and some absolutely huge moose.

I like the old school "bear" archery guy vid's, they are true, and unfold right before your eyes so I give them a two thumbs up, just hard to find.

Yeah i agree with the "staged" for camera hunts.....I guess when you are trying to sell the stuff, you do have to try and make is a clean as possible. I had some trouble watching the "Buck Fever" series untill they started to grow on me....the bucks started getting bigger every video so I had no trouble adjusting to it. Im pretty particular with the Jim Shockey series....that Cody Robbins (cameraman) does a good job. Lately, I have checked out the Stoney Wolf production Shockey videos and the soundtrack is terrible...the video had loud roman and some parts even sounded like Islamic Jihad music....very distracting and even annoying at times. Most times my co-workers put up with "my hunting Porn" ,as they call it, but some made the same comments about the music. Still...Shockey videos like Lancaster have exceptional footage. Anyone know of any great moose, bear, deer vids?

This one will interest the sheep hunters. It's called "Black Shale, White Sheep". Excellent dall sheep hunting footage in Alaska done by the guide/ outfitter Rick French himself. Not the fanciest/ smooth filming, but the country and "over the shoulder" footage is awesome. Similar to Bart's type of sheep hunt filming. I ordered one up thru www.alaskaalpineoutfitters.com (http://www.alaskaalpineoutfitters.com). Took awhile to arrive, but well worth it.
