I've heard of grizzly's using the same path/ spot to place their paws over generations even, but what about black bears? A friend in Alberta has a bait that has a trail coming into it that is like this. Every step is in the same spot. Can it be black bear?

I watched Black Bears coming into a dump for about 10 years. They followed the same trail for years and stepped in the same tracks year after year. The spots where they stepped was worn right down almost into the gravel It was very. It was kind of awe inspiring if you stopped and thought of the number of bears year after year stepping in the same to create that amount of wear.

Thanks Pete, wasn't too sure what was going on out there. Was neat to see, considering thoughts were that it was a grizz.
