Ok fellows here it is I've been looking at a Browning A bolt but now I'm really not sure I bought a Marlin 1895 guide gun and really just love the lever action Browing new BLR looks really nice too which would be the better choice????

Depends on what you want out of it???

Comparing these two rifles is akin of comparing a box of apples w' a case of Trojan's.

I shoot a BLR as many others here do. I think mine is great, it shoots well, loads fast, easy to carry in hand and most importantly drops everything dead.

I own a Marlin Guide gun and it's fine....however, the quality of Browning, in my opinion is superior. Also, there are many calibur choices with the BLR or A-bolt...not so with the Marlin.

I think you should go with what you would think you like ,its up to you to decide on what would be best ,go with your in-stinks thats what I would do.

I've owned an A-Bolt for years and likely will for some time, but having just bought an XLR, the A-bolt won't be seeing nearly as much daylight!!!

I suppose it will depend on which combination of comfortable fit and caliber you settle on?

Your choosing between two excellent rifles. I think it's up to the caliber available and what rifle you like best. Try and hold both rifles before you decide. More than once it's made a difference in my buying decision.

I hunt big stuff with a 30-06 Brno, which I love and deer with a .243 BLR which I love almost more!Browning makes the sweetest action of any lever gun and the quality of the bluing and stock finish is amazing. It`s also a shitload of fun to shoot!

I've never been a lever kind of a guy. Mine used to jam up on me all the time. Nothing wrong with browning though!
