This pic was taken recently where a buddy has his grizz LEH.

Would you take him?

How big do you think he is?

If time permitted a good look see to make sure he is a he and not a she with cubs, BOOM. That said he's not giving us a good shot at the vital and he's looking right at us, I'd have to wait a little longer in any event?

Q2 Answer: BIG ENOUGH!!!!

I agree with Steelco, I'd take him under those circumstances.

If it is a he, he would make an awesome trophy! Moosin

Looks great from that one pic. Looks to have some good front end mass.
BUT it's a good thing we don't have to make the call in the field from just one pic:-).

No cubs around, appears to be a he bear.

Any ideas on size???

SHOOT HIM

Unless this is one of those ridiculous "post the pic of her with the cubs later" kind of thread.

I think he wants to know if it's worth going after again. Is he big enough? How big do you think he would measure?

Hard to tell how big the bear is looking at one picture. It also looks like the photographer was situated below the bear. This would make the animal look larger than it might be.

Sure looks like a nice bear to take though.

If I knew he was a he I would hammer him. As a guess.... I'd say he might be a 7 footer??

Those are both big bears, the ears are far apart, has a pumpkin head, just for a guess the first pic was a boar the second a sow. The first looks somewhat of a barrel, ears wide apart, its big and staring you down, I'm surprised you never got backtracked nor charged unless you were in your truck.

Who cares what anyone else on here thinks. It is your tag and if he floats your boat pull the trigger. Are you hunting for recognition or for the simple joy of hunting?

If all was clear to go and it was a bore it would be down. Looks like a nice size Griz to me.

I think he will take him if he gets a chance. I just saw it as a good opportunity to get some opinions prior to the hunt. Its not that often that someone takes a pic of a bear in your draw area.

Thanks for the feedback.
