That muley buck has a set of very thick antler velvet, could be as big around as the wide end of a base ball bat.
The word, Keeper, comes 2 mind, check that buck as summer goes along. Thickest new growth so far on mule deer buck. Jel official velvet inspector til September.

Those mule deer look like a herd that is very well adapted to the hills. Their back quarters are muscled and have their own unique look and shape. That muley buck is going to be in great shape come October with it's winter coat on and polished antlers. Keep an eye on that rack. Jel-mule deer above the river.

75 days of growth left, add 75 days, then times 1/4 inch minimum per day, cuz of lush forage to feed on + limestone rich soil = 75 divided by 1/4 inch = just under 20 inches more growth on top of the already 14 inches =
