My First Black Bear

Today's hunt was awesome, just my dad and myself...... We got to our spot around 6:45 and started a slow walk into the area we thought would be good in the morning..... Around 7:30 I spotted this boar at 50 yards, he was meandering in the lush green growth on the floor of the draw between two mountains. I told my dad to take the shot (as his gun has only shot at paper targets) but he said "Your ready take the shot" so I did, a double lung shot..... Needless to say he only walked about 10 feet after that....... Where he came to rest for the final time.. He measured in at 6 feet 6 1/2 inches and it was all dad and I could do to lift him in the back of the gator...... Heres some pics
