Well all I can say is what a great trip + hunt
Had a great time last week lots of hiking snowing shoeing ,quading etc etc and trying to get into the back country
Tons + Tons of snow hard to go anywere, tough conditions.
Well to make a long story short seen 1/2 doz 's grizzly and had a 25 yard shot in the thick alders-willows on this 10 + year old male Blonde Silvertip
The old 338 win mag pushing 250gr Nolser PT did the trick with one shot ,way easier to do your hunting before you pull the trigger !!!!
The 3 hr pack out with over 100+ lbs of hide + head in dark was another story to be told over a few tall sheep hunter drinks < and theres only a few that know what am talking about>
Know if only I could figure out how to post a few pictures but I need "Goat Guys" help to do it
Hope all the rest of you had good time too
Cheers

Congrats on the bare.

Looks like the big fella's still alive. JK got a grizz on Sat and nobody in there had put the big guy down yet up Senrac. I'd imaging it's greened right up in there now. It was leafing hard last weekend. The big guy to the north was taken a couple weeks ago. 8 1/2 footer. Should have been there. Went and checked out my fav spot and nobody had even been in there yet. Great spring for grizz hunting.

If you want other pics put up send 'em my way.

Thank the WOW factor was great but the PUCKER FACTOR of having to walk up to a grizzy by yourself was even greater !!!!!!

I will back up what everyone else is stating "Awesome" bear.

I'm leaving in the morning for 7-28 I have a grizzly bear tag as well.

I was wondering if I should take snow shoes now I think I'll throw them in just in case.
