Well this year was another success, 3 spring bear hunts have been consecutively successful as I hammered my 3rd archery bear this weekend. We saw a ton of game and had a blast. yah exactly wayne! I am going to go to cranbrook for archery season this year, hopefully I get a big bull!

Good job Justin!! How big was he...nose to tail? How far a shot? where did you hit him....details man...need the details!!!:-D

Where did you take him? On the road where we ran into you guys or on the outer loop?

but for a quick answer, 5'5" nose to tail, I used my 20 yard pin but he was 30-40' up a tree, I hit em through the liver into the lungs(I was below shooting up) and then I backed up and shot through both lungs to try to end the death quicker but the vitals showed that the lungs and liver were destroyed and no arrow hit the stomach or guts. We got him on the c road.

yah that area has produced 3 bears for me, 3 bears for my partner and 1 for each of my brothers in the last 3 springs.
