Long weekend bear

I got this bear over the long weekend. Decided to go for an afternoon hunt by 70 Mile driving the backroads and saw this guy feeding on a steep section of road below me about 50 yrds. I took one shot using 150gr. Fed.Pwr.Shk and he ran 30 yrds and dropped. The rifle (for those wondering:smile:) is a Norinco M14 clone (.308win), chopped to 18.5" w/ Vortex Flash Suppressor, and yes, this mag is legal :shock:.

Seeing you in the bush with that rifle and the fatigues (spelling?) would be like the last time I was exploring around the military practice base in chilliwack and rounded a corner to see 20 guys with assault rifles staring at me from out of the bush. It was kinda freaky.

Thanks guys. LOLz, yea I wanted to clarify the rifle for those who are uninformed:smile:. Last year's thread became all outta whack cause of the legality of the rifle magazine. Just wait until I drop her into a tactical stock and she'll look like she belongs in the sandbox 8). Havent been on here for awhile. Congrats to all others who have been successful this season. Wont be back until fall as the season's done for me. Gotta save a tag for fall! Good luck to all.
